Delicious no churn vanilla ice cream

This delicious no churn vanilla ice cream is so easy to make it barely warrants a recipe!  I don’t own an ice cream machine as I don’t eat it very often, and this appears to be the simplest way.  Once you have made the base, it is easy to add different flavourings.  I made a quick raspberry coulis and had it with some fresh mango. You could always enjoy this with a delicious chocolate brownie… or two?

Pour the condensed milk into a bowl and add the vanilla.
Stir thoroughly with a whisk or fork until combined.

Pour the double cream into a bowl and use a hand whisk or a stand mixer and whisk until stiff peaks form.
Fold the condensed milk into the cream until thoroughly combined.
Pour into a suitably sized freeze proof container and lay some cling film on the surface.

This is optional, but I put it into the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
Then move it into the freezer and freeze for at least 6 hours.
Remove about half an hour before serving.
